But I like pork...
Mostly pulled pork sandwichs. Anyone believe that there is a serious lull in news? So much so that the only thing to report on is the swine flu "outbreak". Man... just slice it thin.

Dad?
After a wild week of covering 2 positions at work and the standard madness that goes along with being a DoD contractor I decided to wind down with a few brews on the Georgetown river front. I picked up Cali Matt and we made our way down in 90 degree weather. We shoot the breeze over margaritas, cervesas, and pints of Sam Adams. If you ever get a chance, peep the G-town waterfront on a sunny warm day, you won't be disappointed.
We end on a good note and not too in the bag. I make my way back to VA for some downtime on the couch with the wife. I walk in the door and immediately aren't allowed in the dinning room. After she give me a prep talk, out comes the EPT test and the lines are crossed. Not being to sure about that result, the next digital version clearly tells us she's pregnant.
Hell yeah! I'm going to be a father. Woot!

Weathermen
I've always gotten a kick out of it snowing on my birthday in mid April. But hail in late April, wow. I've seen some good size hail come down before, but that was either upstate NY or out in Colorado. Virginia gets some hail, nice.

Another day of p90x down, go Shoulders and AB-RipperX! I can see how I will hate looking at he same people doing these exercises perfectly the same way for the next 90 days. Eh well. Beauty is pain.

A new week
I've got a blog, a domain name, and some time. I should use them better.
Just installed my new webcam and picked up a kickass sports armband for my iPod. I'll be able to listen to good music now at Sterling's SportRock. I've been working myself through the bouldering problems. Warm ups are now just racing through all the V0, V1, and V2s. V3s and V4s are my focal point now. Cool downs are reworking the V1 and V2s. Personally I like the Sterling location better as there's more room and less people than the Alexandria location. Basically I'm right where I want to be. I figure within 2 more months I'll be working the V4 and V5s with no problem.
Also, tomorrow I start my P90x workout. Thanks to reading about a high school buddy of mine, John Kopecky, and his great gains. I'm off to the races with a new workout routine just in time for summer. Who hasn't said that before? We'll see where this goes. Thanks John.
This past weekend was good time getting out to Sugarloaf Mtn in Maryland. Got to lead a 5.6 on trad and TR'd some other routes. I'm defiantly getting back into the swing of things with placing gear on lead.
Hmm... should list a fave song or something here too... OK, listening to EPMD's "Strictly Business".
