Time well spent

I've been away from writing and mostly spinning. You'll see a new link on the right, I've setup a SHOUTcast server at home here. After work and on weekends, it will stream off my turntables and any other live mixes I do. During the day it'll just play from my collection on the server.

Back when I lived in Chicago, one local radio station did a great bit on Sunday mornings. It was called "Breakfast with the Beatles". I always loved being able to listen to this show with my folks every weekend. So, in honor of that, I'll be doing a similar show from 9 am to noon each Sunday. Stay tuned.

Had a hella time in Tampa visiting Nick. Florida will never be that same. Hopefully he can grab a nice job up in the DC area. The Florida market is weak and tech jobs don't pay well. On to greener pastures I say.

Side note: Now that I'm listening to Abbey Road, I realize that Ringo was by far the most under estimated Beatle.

This week hopefully brings better weather here in DC. This weekend has been 70s and sunny, and I'm hoping it stays there.

Well, back the program. Tune in.

And watch out for flying balls.
