Wompus is making me look bad
Things have been wicked busy here in DC. So....here we go.
Hit up Shamrockfest this past weekend. Pics to follow. Checked out Jimmies Chicked Shack, nuck backstage and got to meet the man himself. They rocked out on stage, with a good crowd to boot. Hit up Flogging Molly after that, they were great. That was the first time I'd seen them live.
I've been working on a new set. I'm determined to nail down a perfect 45 minute routine to incorporate old school hip-hop, soul, funk, anything the RZA touched, more funk, a splash of live James Brown, and a rock tune or two. Hopefully, this will come together soon. I have faith. Stay tuned.
I have to go cook something now. I'll post more in a bit.
